About me

I'm Brazilian (mineiro ☕🧀) and currently living in Denmark.

I'm a Senior Software Engineer with around 8 years of experience building backend systems, data platforms, and scalable cloud services. Although I graduated in Mechatronics Engineering, I started my career in web development and, over the years, expanded into backend engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering. What motivates me most is building technology that solves real problems. I'm fascinated by what people can do with a single computer and an Internet connection nowadays. We have the opportunity to create products that can improve the lives of millions of people and make a meaningful impact on the world.

Beyond software, I've always had a strong interest in hardware and engineering in general. Recently, I've been exploring AI and embedded systems, with a growing interest in building reliable, scalable software for Physical AI. One example being distributed systems and data pipelines for Robotics applications. In many ways, this feels like coming full circle. One of the reasons I chose Mechatronics Engineering was my fascination with robotics, and I still believe robotics has enormous potential to improve productivity, safety, and healthcare. With AI accelerating the capabilities of intelligent machines, I'm excited to contribute to the technologies that will shape this future.

My long-term goal is to work across the entire stack - from hardware to software - bringing together my background in Mechatronics engineering with my experience in modern software development. Therefore, this blog's content will reflect some of these things that I'm interested in and/or have experience with.
